Nice Airport Shops

French airports dont put as much emphsis on shopping as their British or Spanish counterparts but Nice boasts a good selection of retail opportunities.

Several major chains are present in both terminals but some more specialist shops are not.  Dont worry, you can easily visit the shops in the public areas of both terminals by making use of the free airport shuttle bus.

Shops at Nice Airport Terminal 1

Lets start on the ground floor.  Check your bags in and then go for some refreshment.  You’ll find all the details at Terminal 1 Bars and Restaurants.  After that its shopping time!

You will notice the new Relay Multistore, opened in August 2008. Here you will find “Partir” selling very smart luggage and travel accessories; “Serge Blanco” with a range of rugby clothing for men and children and “Grand Prix” where you can buy gifts carrying the Ferrari, Porsche or Renault logos.

Right next to the multistore is Koba with an exciting range of lingerie and swimwear.

There are also two small outlets selling jewelery and watches, and a newsagents.  Next to the Relay newsagent is a fascinating shop for anyone who wishes to buy for children.  Called “Quand le Chat n’est Pas Là”  it stocks clothing, toys and early learning gadgets not easily found on the average British high street.

The shops on the upper floor are in the departure lounge and therefore only accessible to passengers after passing through security.

Printemps and Hermes both sell luggage and fashion items, gifts and accessories. There is yet another outlet for jewelery and watches.

Beauty Unlimited will allow you to stock up on your favourite beauty and make-up items and perhaps buy that special bottle of perfume.

L’Occitane Here is where you can buy all the bath and beauty products which you couldn’t get before because you wouldn’t have been able to get them through security.

Hediard is an up-market supplier of delicatessen type produce.

Shops at Nice Airport Terminal 2

There are no shops on the ground floor of Terminal 2 – just a cash till and the desks of the car hire companies.

Upstairs there are several to choose from.  Printemps specialises in fashion, luggage and accessories.

Koba is where to buy that very special lingerie you have been promising yourself (or her!)

Sunny Days has a good range of gift items for those last minute presents.

Côté Sud is a treasure trove of beautiful household items, glassware, linen, candles and much more.

Payot is a well-stocked newsagent.

For children, Quand le Chat n’est Pas Là sells clothes, toys and learning aids with that special French touch, while Glups has a range of sweets large enough to keep any child happy during the flight.

Once through security into the departure lounge, carry on with Celine and Hermes for fashion items,  Dufry for everything including fashion, alcohol, perfumes and tobacco products and Virgin for CD’s.

You will also find a range of regional food products at Produits Mediterranée and beautifully presented household gifts at Côté Sud.

There are several jewelers shops as well but be aware that if you are departing from any of gates B20 – B25 you will pass through the main lounge to another passport control.  Once in the second “international” lounge, there is only one branch of Dufry and one café so do your shopping in the main areas and only pass through when you are sure you have everything you need.

All this shopping will make you thirsty so have a look at Nice Airport Bars and Restaurants for details of eating and drinking outlets.
