Nice Airport Departures

Nice Airport has two terminals. Your airline should tell you which to use but as a guide, for flights to the UK and Ireland, Air France and Easyjet use Terminal 2 and all others use Terminal 1. If you arrive at the wrong terminal you will have no problem as there is a free shuttle bus operating between the two. This is a bright royal-blue bus and has a wheelchair ramp. Both terminals have drop-off zones where drivers may unload passengers. Time is limited to 2 minutes and the driver must be with the vehicle all the time.

Both terminals have a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants so why not check in early and give yourself time to browse the shops for last minute presents, or even have a meal before your flight? You could even pay a visit to the other terminal - the free shuttle runs every 7 minutes.

If you need to park we give full details of the car parks and their charges at Nice airport parking.

Both terminals are fully accessible to persons of reduced mobility and are non-smoking throughout.

Terminal 1 Departures

The departures area is on the ground floor on the left hand side as you go in. Some check-in desks are along the wall opposite the main doors, some are on an island in the middle of the hall. Embarkation gates A1 to A10 and B12 to B17 are on the ground floor, all others are on the first floor which can be accessed by stairs, escalator or lift.

Both the public and airside areas have several shops and restaurants. Check out Nice Airport Shops and Nice airport restaurants for details.

Terminal 2 Departures

In this terminal the check-in desks are on the first floor. If arriving by car or taxi take the upper level and arrive directly into the departures area. If arriving by bus, take the escalator or lift up to the first floor. When going through security, make sure you are using the correct access for your gate. If your flight is from one of the "B" gates the lounge is accessed through the main departure lounge.

Once you pass through the final passport check, there is only one duty-free shop and one café in this lounge. There is really nothing much on the ground floor, except the car hire desks, all the shops and restaurants being upstairs.
