Buses at Montpellier Airport

There is a regular bus service which links Montpellier Airport with the city centre.  Its timetable is designed to fit in with flight departures and arrivals so if you are arriving at Montpellier Airport you should find the bus outside waiting.

It is called the Aeroport Navette.  As you come through from baggage reclaim out into the main concourse, carry on straight ahead and out of the main doors and you will see the white Aeroport Navette waiting for passengers.

A single fare from the airport to the city centre is about 5 euros.

The bus terminates at the Place de l’Europe in the Antigone quarter of the city.  From here you have several options for onward travel.

Montpellier Airport Buses

Montpellier has an excellent tram system which is frequent and inexpensive.  To take a tram to the railway station (gare SNCF St Roch)  you need line 1 in the direction of Mosson or line 2 in the direction of St Jean de Vedas.  It is 4 stops on either line.

If you need to take a bus to other destinations you need to take tramway line 2 to St Jean de Vedas which is where the buses terminate.

One word of warning – check the time of your return bus before you leave Place de l’Europe!
