The shopping here is rather limited consisting of a Relay newsagent, a duty-free shop, multistore and a winter sports shop.

Relay is a large chain of newsagents/gift shops found at most French airports.  They sell french and foreign newspapers, magazines, chocolates & crisps,  maps, regional products and a few toys.  You will also find items to pass the time on your flight or coach trip such as sudoku and crossword books.

The multistore sells a few fashion items and accessories such as gloves and scarves, as well as gifts and regional products.

The sports shop is a Sport and Mode outlet focussing exclusively on ski wear.  Here you will find the latest ski fashions and also accessories such as gloves, goggles and sun glasses.  It’s a good place to pick up your skipass holders and get some nice warm socks.

There is also a facility to reserve your ski equipment which will then be waiting for you at the resort.  You can also do this on line at www.skiset.co.uk/grenoble.  Skiset have over 650 local shops so there is bound to be one at your resort.  The hire shops get very busy on Saturdays so if you can order your skis on line it is a big time-saver.

The duty-free shop is, of course, in the departure lounge and only available to passengers after passing through security.  Here you will find wines and spirits, tobacco products, perfumes and gift items.  If you want to take any wine home, this is where to buy it in order to avoid problems at the security checkpoint.

Once you’ve had a chance to browse the shops and dream over the trendy ski outfits, relax with a drink at Grenoble Airport Bars and Restaurants
