Buses at Grenoble Airport

Mainly due to the large numbers of younger people visiting the ski resorts, Grenoble Airport boasts one of the largest bus networks among French regional airports.

If you are absolutely sure you don’t want to hire a car (get a free on-line quote at Grenoble Airport Car Hire) and your budget won’t run to a Grenoble airport taxi (one taxi fare will cover four people) then Grenoble airport buses are your answer.

Firstly, to get to the centre of Grenoble, take the local bus, TransIsère line 7310.  This goes to the Bus Station in Grenoble which is right next to the railway station.  A single fare will cost you a mere 4 euros which you can pay either on the bus or (for the return journey) at the ticket office in the Bus Station in Grenoble.

There are several buses a day but there are restrictions over the Christmas and New Year holidays.  When you get to Grenoble, check out the time of the return bus.  For details call 0820 083838 and ask for the English service.
