Beziers Airport Car Hire
Aeroport de Beziers Cap d’Agde is the snappy name allocated to this very new airport in the Herault Department.
Situated 10Km East of the large town of Beziers, just off the N112, this airport is very handy for the seaside resorts from Cap d’Agde west to Narbonne Plage. Also the villages around Pézenas are within easy reach.
Access from the A9 motorway is best made via junction 35. It is also possible to use junction 34 but the airport is not signposted from here and in summer this section of the N112 can be very busy indeed.
Beziers Airport Car Hire
Four car hire companies have set up kiosks in the terminal building – Avis at Beziers Airport: Hertz at Beziers Airport; Europcar at Beziers Airport; and National/Citer at Beziers Airport.
If booking a car on-line, make sure that your pick-up location is definitely Beziers Airport not Beziers city centre. As you exit the terminal building you cannot see the parking area for hire cars. It is at the far right end of the public car park.

Beziers Airport Arrivals
The joy of using a small airport is apparent as you arrive at Beziers airport arrivals. No crowds, no long queues, no escalators. Just get off the plane and walk to the terminal – its that easy. The baggage reclaim area has one belt and luggage trolleys are free.

Departures are as hassle-free as arrivals. As you enter the modern, stylish terminal building, the check-in desk are to your left, clearly marked.
Embarkation is right next to the check-in. There is only one scanner and one arch so this part of the proceedings can be a little slow and queues can build up. They do appear to have addressed the priority/non priority boarding mayhem by using separate gates for each.

Beziers Airport Taxis
Beziers airport taxis can be found situated just outside the terminal building. Normally taxis will be waiting there but if not, the information desk will call one for you.
Beziers Airport Transfers
The airport at Beziers is a little off the beaten track and if you don't like the idea of getting a bus, or hiring a car isn't practical because you're planning to stay in the centre of town or relax in a beachfront campsite then you might want to look at pre-booking a Beziers airport transfer.

Parking at Beziers airport is no longer free but is no cause for alarm. I have added full details of Beziers airport parking prices but can tell you that in my opinion the charges are very low and nothing to worry about.
Parking at Beziers airport is right in front of the terminal leaving only a very short walk from your car to the building. (Or vice-versa) Free luggage trolleys are available in the car park.
Beziers Airport Bars and Restaurants
There is currently only one bar/café in the terminal building, situated in the centre between arrivals and departures. There is a good selection of sandwiches, cold drinks, coffee and beer available at Beziers airport restaurants.
Beziers Airport Shops
The nearest you get to a Beziers airport shops is a magazine rack and a display of paperbacks located at one end of the bar. The magazines are in French but most of the books are in English.

There is no doubt that the fantastic Beziers weather is what brings most visitors to the area. In the summer months, day after day of cloudless blue skies make for the perfect holiday.
