Bergerac - EGC
Bergerac is situated in the Dordogne department in south west France. This area is very popular with Britons both for holidays and as a place to live. Consequently, there are flights to Bergerac from all over the UK.
The airport is just to the south east of the town, off the N21 linking Bergerac with Agen. Road access is good and only if approaching from the north will you have to travel through the town.

Bergerac Airport Arrivals
This is a small but very popular airport and over 80% of Bergerac airport arrivals passengers are British. A short walk from the aircraft brings you into the single terminal building where you are unlikely to encounter any hold-ups due to passport or customs checks.
Collect your baggage (if you have any) and just walk out of the building. Live information about incoming flights is available on Live Bergerac Arrivals.
Bergerac Airport Departures
The single Bergerac airport departures terminal building comprises one large hall with arrivals at one end and departures at the other so it makes no difference which access door you use.
The check-in desks are easy to find as are other facilities such as toilets. There is good wheelchair access everywhere. To get up to the minute flight information look at our Live Bergerac airport Departures information.
Bergerac Airport Taxis
The centre of the town of Bergerac is only a short Bergerac airport taxi ride away (about 10-15 minutes) but other towns such as Sarlat, Riberac or Bordeaux are considerably further and a hire car is recommended.
We recommend Holiday Taxis for a no nonsense online experience. Just click on the image to get an instant online quote for your Bergerac airport taxi transfer. |
Bergerac Airport Buses
There are no Bergerac airport bus services at Bergerac Airport. You will need to take a taxi into town from where you can catch a bus or train.
Bergerac Airport Parking
The car park is plenty big enough (535 spaces of which 14 are for disabled badge holders) and you get the first half hour free. The next half hour is 2.50 and two hours will cost you 3.50. Even 5 days will only set you back 18 euros – what a difference from the UK!
Bergerac Airport Bars and Restaurants
There is one small bar/restaurant at Bergerac airport in the terminal building. Here you can get hot and cold drinks and snacks. If you want something a little more substantial they also serve a “Plat du Jour” which changes every day but there is no choice. What there is, is what you get but it is generally very good value for money. All in all Bergerac airport bars and restaurants are fairly limited but should fill a hole before your flight.
Bergerac Airport Shops
For all our research it seems that Bergerac airport shops are no more. I travelled through Bergerac airport several years ago and do remember there being a shop at Bergerac airport but aparently not anymore!
Bergerac Weather
